i didn't like any of the commonly used starter button locations, so i put mine in a gauge panel I made out of Lexan, it also houses my boost gauge. Gotta give props to Revlimiter, I used his writeup for the install.

I also made a lego beer koozie, but that's not really automotive related.

Talked with the OP and we're going to change this thread to general DIY because it has many great ideas that can inspire all makes of the Miata.

Lots of DIY in my car. Headlight cover, hood, eclipse headlights, intercooler setup, dual throttle bodies, supercharger idler, catch can, and probably much more that I can not think of right now.

I also made the led shift light that is in front of my gauges in this video.

^ Chris you are the DIY king.....you need a build thread so everyone can see all the things you have done....including the Volvo!

Never kept good photos of before and after for my miata or record of exactly what I did. Also it was a 6 or 7 year long project so I never made a build thread. Probably still will not cause I am lazy. Same reason why I have not done a thread for the volvo yet. Lazy

Lots of talented folks not getting a whole lot of props such as Dustin's gauge/start button panel, MX5's awesome trunk amp setup and many more before in this thread.

Just wanted to say that even though it may seem lukewarm in here, we're all taking note and appreciate your hard work, attention to detail and efforts photographing and posting here.

So many of these posts need their own DIY write ups because the ideas are so good.

Anyway, good work to all, keep it up. We're watching.
