    Arny's Etna NB

    Hi all,

    Here is my french 2004' Mx-5 Etna Limited Edition.

    I bought it in 2008 completely stock :

    I don't know if I'm alone on this thread but I continue
    The Rotrex install will begin shortly, right after my holidays in the south of France.

    I have removed the front bumper to have better access to the radiator and for the mounting of the front tow hook and intercooler.



    I have received some parts:

    IL Motorsport 50mm aluminium radiator :


    High pressure system with Spal fans:


    And here is the new rad in the engine bay : (need some cleaning)




    I have also installed my Rennenmetal front tow hook that I had for a while.

    The new Spal system seems to be very efficient. (with the stopped car, the temperature decreased in 6 degrees celsius (43°F) within 2 minutes. (96°C to 90°C = 205°F to 194°F)

    I have driven the car with the Rotrex. It's super fast
    Too bad that the SC's belt became a "spaghetti belt" and it has taken the alternator belt with it :





    I think the belt wasn't tighten enough.
    So I have bought a stock of belt :
