    Remember what Gordon Murray said about the Lotus Elan in connection with the McLaren F1's development? Well, Koenigsegg knows what he was on about:

    This is a thing about Koenigsegg cars as well. People recognize them mostly for their power, but in many ways, that’s not our main priority. I mean, we prioritize much more that they supposed to be fun and exciting to drive. But that all is overshadowed by the crazy power we also make…yet I think the MX-5 is a good example on how you can have fun with a car with almost no power. And it’s an important lesson to always have in the back of your head when you develop super powerful cars.
