i didn't do the buffing, the wife took her car to the car wash and had them wash/wax/buff (first and only time considering they also stripped off all her clear coat)

Whoa. I've fallen in love with this thread. This shit looks amazing.
Please posts pics of that hardtop, RvoemaG. I'd like to see how it came out and how it looks.

Has anyone done their dash? With an un-cracked dash could this help prevent cracks?

Next paycheck comes around I'm getting a few cans.

Is there any prep work to do before hand? I assume the basic get it clean before applying, but anything else?

yeah, pretty much just clean the surface of any oil, dirt, residue. no scuffing or sanding required. super easy stuff to use, as you can see in my window frame pics. turned out great (thanks for the compliment) and im no painting pro

yeah i have only seen black at HD as well. guess you have to get your special colors online. you could always google the product and color and see if there is a shop nearby with that color.

If you want to plastidip your wheels, make sure you spray at least 2 THICK coats. Otherwise the heat will make it peel, and it'll fall apart when you try and take it off.
