Where'd you order them from? Bellwilliam has said that these Federals outperform the Falken 615K.

There's nothing WRONG with them, but they just aren't in the same class. In the street tire classes in SCCA, they aren't even on the radar, and it's for a reason.

If you like them, that's all that really matters, though.

FYI, though... most performance street tires run a bit wide. I have 205/50-15 Star Specs for the street meats for the Escort. Unmounted, they measured 217mm shoulder to shoulder. That should widen up a bit once mounted. The 225/45-15 RS3s run wide as well. My 245/45-16 RS2s i used to run on the Celica measured at over 255mm mounted.

But no, i have not run them on any of my cars, but i have driven cars that have run them. They're a very good street tire. I'd even maybe give them a shot for non-competitive track days, though from my experience, they get greasy when hot. I would just never compete on them.

I think what i was trying to say was that they're a good tire, but simply that the RS3 is better. Probably doesn't matter much on the street, though.
Like he asked, have you actually had these tires? i doubt you have because these despite the relatively low price out perform or can hang with the top tires you listed, i speak from experience. To anyone on the fence about the federals and on a budget, don't think twice. git um

a shop called sgmotorsportz, its one of those sketchy shops in the bario that mount 20's-28's for drug dealer's hummers and yukons. They dont even have a lift or anything, they use floor jacks to lift cars up lol.

I got them for about $350 mounted/balanced, but that was on a hookup since I work for a local shop that supplies them with parts.

No, but i've had RS3s, which he also asked for input on.

And i'm still telling you that no, the Federals can not hang with the top tires i listed, otherwise they would be doing so in any number of street tire competitions. This is fact, and there's really no argument to be made against it.

But yet again, THIS DOES NOT MAKE THEM A BAD TIRE. He's not using them for competition, so he made a great choice with his money. Shit, if they made them in a size i could use, i'd use them on my street cars myself.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1334429359.659903.jpgI'm using the 595 if you're on a budget go for it. Great grip but seems to fall off once you get more mileage or you heat them up after track usage. Def not a
Competition tire but great on the wallet. I got these for the avail grip and trying to set up my suspension / alignment. Why waste good tires. Stiff sidewall so it's a harsh daily driven tire
