    Proudly, I actually understood what some of that meant (though I'm not sure how I'd actually do it all)

    What do you guys think of the composition here? I'm thinking I could crop a little bit from the left side and the bottom (get his leg out of the picture, basically) as a start.

    Wish I had the skills you guys do. just have to practice more. These shots were on a 35mm Rebel, I believe most were Kodak 800 automatic setting.

    The car looks great, but (it could just be my monitor) the trees and sky seem to wash out a little (especially when your eye drifts towards the van). Does that make sense?

    That's definitely done on purpose to draw attention away from the bg. An aesthetic preference.

    I'd prob angle the camera down so the feet don't get cropped at the bottom. And also if you ever decide to get lightroom or ps, a little color correction wouldn't hurt.

    Cool. I wouldn't think about that (angling the camera down)!
