Thanks,Thats giving it some shit as well,Reasonably quiet at speed,Enough of a note to know it's not standard ,Quiet enough not to annoy other people,Unless you want too ,Howls though some back roads we have that i drive thru sometimes .
Japs really made a nice system in this,It's a keeper, getting rid of my St Mays and RS*R/Racing Beat systems now.

which Corn*s exhaust is that exactly? I'm looking to order the 3 piece Corn*s probably this weekend.

I do like the way that sounded

Corn*s systems seem to be really high quality. The maxim works and corn*s combo is a nice setup.

sorry, no vids yet. but i can tell you it sounds great!!! only thing that bothers me is, the midpipe hangs much too low!!! i'm modslammed now and the midpipe is scraping all over the place. i have to reweld the midpipesection. other than that, it sound so damn good, it's pretty loud, but i don't care.

Gives, IMO, a nice deep tone, that, at idle isn't a great deal louder than stock, but up in the revs it gives a nice tone at a decent level.

I'm not sure,Rod (Tetsuya Garage)told me it was a Corn*s on the "other "forum a wee while ago when i first posted photo's of it.
In all honesty i'm not exactly sure,But Rod seemed to be fairly sure about it.Our guys from work who gets our Mazda parts from Japan got it for me,There is No branding on it,
It's all one piece and butt welded on the curves, and complete with cat converter.in any case someone in Japan spent some money getting it done,The engine the exhaust came from was fairly well worked over as well,Toda cams,Toda flywheel,High comp and Freedom ECU.
If any here on the forum knows better ,please feel free to correct

Yes, but I believe you have to cut the mounting tabs for the rear subframe brace.

I have the Springfield dyno exhaust on my miata. At first I loved it. Now I don't. Way to loud, a friend who went to an f1 race said I'm on par with them. Eek.

I recently bought a cat-back system from someone on my local MX-5 forum, but its rather interesting..

It has the Racing Beat logo on the muffler and tip, but stamped on the pipe it has RS*R with some numbers. The seller did some digging and found out that RS*R used to make the early Racing Beat systems, but the production cost was too high so Racing Beat started their own production. This particular system is really solid, looks almost hand made..

I haven't got around to installing it yet as I want to get a set of headers as well, but here are some pics.

    2.5" diameter from my measurements.
