MP3 players and Head Units

I had my 160Gb iPod plugged in and thought that was pretty cool but you're right, it's more trouble than it's worth to have everything available at once. I do make playlists though which is much much better and way easier to navigate if I even need to navigate at all. I just want to turn the car on and drive and have my favorite music come on without me having to fumbling through menus to find anything.
