noob question -will this wideband work with my car?

    I have a '94 1.8 supercharged, it sucks fuel like nobody's business (15mpg)

In order to tune it, I'm trying to get a wideband o2 and snag my buddy's old MS2... will this sensor work? Should I go with something better? Different?

    ebay wideband sensor link

thanks to the boost/fuel management pros out there

Yes. EvDog has one in his car, among others.

That one will work fine. You could also look into the Innovate LC-1 kit (about $169/shipped on eBay). The guys at DIYAutoTune seem to prefer it in conjunction with the MS as it's a little more precise and responsive (although to the regular user it's not something I'd call noticeable), on the flip side setup is just a little more involved. I've used both and would readily go with either brand.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

    Widebands are universal.

If you're using MS, i would not bother with the AEM, and at least get an Innovate MTX-L. If you want to spend a little more for better, then NGK AFX. In this day and age, the LC-1 is an old outdated and annoying dinosaur.

I just need my car to quit blowing large clouds of black smoke everywhere, and for people who drive behind me to quit yelling at me :\
