    How to smooth over eyeball vents??

    im kinda stuck... im trying to reupholster my dash and i want to cover up all my eyeball vent holes to make it look smooth, does anyone know how to do this or have any ideas? i want it too look like the second pic

    you'll need to completely remove the tombstone piecs, and the crash pad, then glass in a bridge piece to fill in the missing bit. From there, you could remove and cut out the lower half of the dash, adding in a custom center support (like the one above). You could also opt to keep the lower dash and cut/glass/build a short version of te tombstone (to keep ac/radio)

    i know what to do lol, (ill have the dash completely out) im just asking how do i "glass in a bridge piece"?

    Expanding foam will fill it in and can be shaped with ease.
    Once you have the desired shape, lay on some aluminum foil and glass right over.
    After the glass sets, scoop out the foam which should come right off due to the aluminum foil.



    BTW. That is one nice dash in that second picture.
