I'd be in for a set in a heartbeat, but would definitely want for them to accommodate cruise control and the bend to each stalk, like the original.

Sounds like he is looking at the later (both bent) stalks, but they are awkward as they are hollow and have several weak points that he's not happy with.... watch this space though, at least he's giving it a go.

In the meantime, have found some (fairly poor) pics of a set fitted... they are in an Italia that a mate of mine is building, so the car is incomplete... and the steering wheel is totally in the way, but you get the general idea!!

NB these are plain (no engraving)
I'll try to get some better pics out of him as the interior is now complete... just need to find the right angle!

Thats for engraved, with a discount for providing the old arm for conversion...it would have been £150 for a straight purchase. I think they were £100 for the plain arms but I would expect the double bend ones to be more as they are more intricate and take longer to make... thats assuming it can be done!

And some more of other people...

This set were ordered plain, and the guy sorted out his own decals.

This set has the standard engraving, same as mine.

The decals look great!, but I think the engraving would stand up much better in the long run.

Its much nicer than that now as he has a Zoom extended radio console in there... the car is superb inside and out, its an Italia body with a V6 engine running on throtle bodies...

Hi all, I'm the guy that's been making all of these so I thought I'd better sign up and say hello.

    Hello!

Big thank you for all your comments, sounds like you guys really like them.
Just to clarify a few things:
    1. These are only for the straight Mk1 indicator units as found, I believe, only on imports in the US.
    2. Yes, I am willing to post to the US but it'll cost an extra £7.00 ($10.92) or there abouts, that's a 4 day signed for service with up to £500 insurance.
    3. Cost of plain set will then be £107 and engraved £157, including delivery.
    4. I'm still thinking of the best way to make the bent arm units you have in the US, also for the Mk2 which are pretty much the same.
    5. There is a £10 cash back offer when I receive your old stalks but that might not be that cost effective posting from the US.
    6. Why did someone have to mention Cruise Control

If any one has any other questions just ask away.

is there a way you can do a polished black staker or does it defeat the purpose of having bling like this blend in a black dash? and you might need to get a temporary vendor status for the site and start a group buy if you are getting this much attention. Also If there is a group buy would it be cheaper?
