Nice ride. Which COP ignition did you use? I see FlowForce specifically warn against using their Audi R8 COP kit with the MS Labs MS3 Basic ECU that I run because it lacks the necessary high-current coil driver circuit. I see on MiataTurbo.net forum one guy got it working on his MS3X (which has the same limitation as my MS3 Basic) using a custom TC4427A chip circuit in the prototype area of his ECU, but that is above my skill level. I don’t even think my ECU has a prototype area, making it even more challenging. All of it makes me want to upgrade to a DIYAutoTune MS3Pro PNP in order to have a few little upgrades like second MAP sensor for realtime barometric pressure sensing and easy sequential ignition using COP conversion.
