Question Moon hubcaps bad for brakes?

Thinking about running some moon hubcaps aka smoothies. Will this affect brake cooling/performance since its a full covered face vs. open design?

if you are using those wheels I am pretty sure it is more for style vs performance, but they probably help you get better MPGs though!

You're probably not going to get your brakes hot enough on the street for performance to be a concern.

+1 what fwdtamiya said. I've run those caps and the major hassle with these caps is having to remove them to check tire pressures. They're thin and easy to damage

It's not really BAD for brakes. You just won't get any brake cooling from the wheel (which is where most brake cooling comes from). But you'll have much less drag.

They'll be an improvement over plastic caps.
But even black steelies and no caps would be better than plastic, in my opinion.
