Awesome job on the starter button! Can't wait to see those wheels on there either!
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

I just got the last piece for the S2000 start button project. The small 3mm Instrument cluster LED bulb to replace the stock one.

Here's the difference in lighting. Much better!

    Stock vs. Cool White LED

What sucks about these little bulbs is that they are polarized. If they don't work you have to take them out and rotate them an extra turn. When you loosen them again they wont come out as easy as the original ones since these LED's are longer. I had to disassemble the start button so I can push the bulb out from the inside out. I went 0 for 2 ....on the 3rd time I got smart and made a marking with a sharpie on the bulb twist cap so I know where it was before and.... finally got it to work on the 3rd try.

Cleaned up the engine bay. I usually do it twice a month.

I like how the brushed finish on the start button matches my independent gauge rings

Wow, this is an all around great looking car. Everything just flows together so nicely, even the interior. The red in your gauges goes well with the red stitching in the wheel. Subscribed for sure!

Couple stuff arrived in the mail today.

Racing Beat Front Sway bar with endlinks.

Custom cut 0.063" Aluminum sheet (Grade 5052). I'll be making my own engine underpanel out of this.

Started working on my engine under panel over the weekend.

Before I threw away my OEM engine under panel I traced it over a large piece of cardboard. Once I had the over all dimensions I ordered my aluminum sheet to that size. I decide not to extend the panel all the way to the oil pan. I rather buy the studio skid plate which will offer more protection. So this piece will be slightly modified later down the road to work with studio skid plate.

Here I have the cardboard cut and bent and ready to be mounted for a mock up.

    Everything lined up perfect ....

Traced the cardboard cutout to the aluminum sheet now.

As you can see there is minimal cutting required. The 2 bends are going to be the hardest part of this project.

Look what UPS dropped off today.

BlackBird Fabworx 4pt GT3 Rollbar with harness bar.

    Flat black finish.

I originally ordered it in Black "Starlight" which is pretty much a black base coat with flakes on it but then I was told it would cost an extra $70. I changed my mind and went with a flat black finish which is starting to be a theme inside my interior. Sort of glad , I didn't get the Starlight finish now.
