    LostSoul's '94 Honda CBR1000F

Well, back story is I bought this bike from a family friend, who was the original owner, and he wanted to keep it in the "family" knowing I wouldn't abuse the hell out of it like someone else might. This bike has been garaged or ridden it's whole life, been put through it's paces and came out shining, the only bad thing is it has some very low speed lay downs, nothing that couldn't be fixed with some elbow grease. It needs some basic maintenance stuff; oil change, spark plugs, air filter, both tires, chain, valve cover gasket, but nothing big. Bike runs perfectly, needs nothing really, just doing peace of mind things so I don't have to worry about them later. I've cleaned it up a little, shortened the rear license plate mount, and the only non-stock things I will be installing will be a taller touring windshield, LED bulbs in the Turn signals, and Bi-Xenon HID's in the headlight. Honda made this bike right as a sport touring bike and the maintenance is so easy to perform, the center stand is a wonderful thing! Anyway, here's the pics.....

    That's a handsome machine.

I always say I need to get my bike going again. Maybe this time I mean it.

Thanks. This one is going to stay mostly stock for distance and two up riding, my CB is my hooligan bike.

Today I changed out the spark plugs out from some shitty Autolites to NGK's, replaced the air filter, and changed the oil (Motul 5100 20w50) and filter. Ordered some new Shinko Raven tires (180 rear), new wheel bearings, DID o-ring chain, LED turnsignal bulbs, and H4 headlight adapters so I don't have to pay $30 a bulb from Honda. All that should be in by next Wednesday and I'll get pics. I also need to bleed and flush the brake and clutch system, but just changing out the oil today made the bike shift so easily and buttery smooth and the plugs made one hell of a difference in throttle response *drool*

So I've been enjoying the hell out of my bike lately, which is why I haven't been around as much.

Got some basics, along with new tires (not pictured)

    Then just out and about....
