I'm digging them. I would like to see it in a 14, as others have mentioned already.
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

I saw this wheel in person at the Global Time Attack event this weekend. The finish is a frosted grey/silver paint that mimics cast magnesium. The wheel looks gooood.

I wonder if they'll re-issue the Compe 8's that didn't have the finned lip?

Also they'd better do some 14x7's again. In 4x100 of course, since all the 14's of these I've ever seen were 4x114.3.

Did someone mention the need for 14"x7.5"? Sounds nice. Maybe we should ring up Brian Goodwin again like we did with the 14" RPF1s...see what, if anything, can be done.

For comparison, here are my original Enkei Compe 8 wheels. Pic taken about 6.5 years ago. I believe they're 14x6. Can't remember offset.

Note the smooth lip, not serrated like the new version. I've seen this serrated lip on gravel rally wheels before. The feature that really distinguishes the original Compe 8 wheels from other 8-spokes like the RS Watanabe F8 style wheels is the flanged center bore. Otherwise, they're pretty similar. The new ones are pretty cool but will be a pain to keep clean because of all those tiny pockets on the rim.
