    On a 1.6 you could always dump the CAS for a crank trigger set up (+MS)

    The person that did your porting, did they get it onto a flow bench? This would be the best way to see what cam profiles would suit the head best. I also have a 1.6L, extensively ported with oversized valves. My camshaft was chosen by the guy that's porting my head, ended up being 283deg with 9.5mm lift. Depending on how much lift you decide on, you'll need stronger valve springs.


    Check my build thread in my sig, also doing ITBs. I am also using the '00 style cam and crank sensors to replace the rear CAS.
