School me on spring rates for Tein Basis

I did try a search first. I don't know if I used the wrong search terms or what, but I didn't have much luck finding the information I was looking for. If there is already a thread that covers this, please just point me in the right direction.
I'm getting ready to purchase a set of coilovers and need to know what kind of springs rates I should be running. My car is a '91 NA. Primarily my DD but I would like to make it out to the track or autox on occasion. Also I would like to run a rate that I can get rid of my rear sway bar with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have 600 front 375 rear, but my shocks are valved for them. It's not just the springs, but the shocks used. BTW, how could we answer you, if we do not know the brand of the coilovers you are buying?

You need to contact Tein or 949 racing and ask what rates the Basis can handle. To run without a rear swaybar you'd want fairly close front and rear rates. For tracking 450 to 550 is good.
