Thanks Harry. That is kind of what I was thinking too, although I'm going to exercise my unused compression tester next time home to see how the internals are holding up. If need be I'll yank the engine and rebuild.

I'll be sure to provide you with some comparison pictures (you know, in case you don't already have enough!).
