What clutch to get? Details inside.

    Hey all.

This week I blew the 5 speed in my miata. Ive decided to swap in a 6 speed and everything else while im in there.

I cant decide for the life of me which clutch to get.

    Details:

I like a heavier than stock clutch pedal.

I want the clutch to support 300+ ft lbs of tq.

I want Sfi approved lightweight flywheel.

    ~$600-$700 budget for flywheel/clutchkit.

    Clutches I've been eyeing:

    Stage one FM happy meal

    Stage two FM happy meal

    ACT stage one kit

Im leaning to the regular happy meal, but Ive heard its a really light clutch pedal with a lot of travel, i'd like a shorter travel if possible.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

I say go with the ACT. I've driven a few different cars with that option and the pressure is definitely increased compared to OEM. They seem to last a long time compared to stock clutches. I had the exedy stage one and felt just like the factory (I wonder why). Price wise, they're better than a few others I've seen.
