    Thanks guys, yes it is an interesting look, I have been practicing applying clear coat to a flat surface then turning it upside down, and on its side, because a steering has no flat surface and I do not want any runs, drips or errors. Looks like I will have 5 or more coats to get a good thick covering on the wheel itself, I may start the first coat tonight then let it sit under a low energy UV-A Lamp to cure.

    Looks awesome! Thank goodness you went with the stain you picked as opposed to black. Who in their right mind would suggest that?
