If you're thinking of doing a group buy, I would strongly consider letting people know about it well in advance, but having it available in March / April (when people are getting tax returns.) If we could see this for less than, say, $3500 there may be a strong market.
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

The group buy is already in motion. Details are being worked out as we speak. So start setting those pennies aside.

It's funny you say that Randy. Jon B's NA6 is supercharged with an early Jackson Racing unit, my NB powered NA just finished getting the KraftWerks Rotrex Kit, Joe's NA8 is getting things buttoned up on his KraftWerks Rotrex Kit, Emmi's NB2 is just about done with his KraftWerks Rotrex Kit. The only thing left is Jon B's NC.

Steve, so you are running the stock header right now then on a 99 motor? Any plans to get an aftermarket header? You should be able to dump so weight and gain hp once you go aftermarket. I'd like to see the dyno after that, betting you'll get closer to 220+ range.

This is a pretty cool option, if I don't do a motor swap I might do this instead.
