me too!! Two days of claying. Still need to polish and wax. Now I know why detailers charge what they do.

Looks good I'm sure once you hit with some wax it'll look way better.

Installed my roll bars! Took about 5 hours and I begrudgingly did it alone, but now I'm one of the cool kids with a roll bar!!!

How hard is it to cover the gauge hood and tombstone?

Good call!
I removed evap as well as the air bag crash sensors from the car today.
Bo is a such a great seller if anyone is interested in some of his other parts. I didn't find a review section for buyers or vendors on here, but he was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The part was as advertised and packaged in overkill bubble wrap, tape, and stuffing. Hell, it took me longer to unwrap the parts than it did test fitting them. All the hardware needed was included, including the shard of a coke can needed to get one screw to thread. At first I was confused but then I found where it went and why. It works so well that I didn't change it, why not what the hell. The actual parts were almost too nice to strip and repaint, but it was necessary.
The only problem I ran into was the bulbs. One bulb was functional but hazed and probably ready to die. They all worked properly, but I decided to replace them all at once.
I couldn't get any of the bulbs out, there was some sort of glue melted over the bulb base on all four. I pulled out my blow torch, licked the glue for a few seconds each, and with gloved hand replaced all of them. Easy and done. I did have a slight scare with the new bulbs installed, the left blinker turned into a running light, brake light, and blinker. The brake light would not illuminate at all, the inboard yellow light would just stay lit, or flash with brake input. After looking at the factory light harness, the problem was resolved. The spliced wires from (presumably not having reverse lamps) the ZOOM to factory Mazda harness needed to be pressed back into place from the trauma of removing them from the previous car. It just took a hard press of finger to reset the connection firmly.
I want to post pictures now, but I just can't. I hated my factory taillights for almost a decade. I lusted after this and that, never made up my mind and eventually added badges and stickers over the years that I can't take off now. I have been tossing around the idea of taking my finish panel off for a while, replacing it with a shaved Laguna Blue factory piece. Well, just an hour ago I ordered a European style rear finish panel that I will have painted. The decider was the ZOOM tail lights, they look so right, but all the badges and clutter take away from that. All I need now is some chrome trim rings for the (ZOOM) Suzuki lenses.

well it looks like i chose the right home for them. it was hard to let go, but ill probably never move on from the gv tails. and euro finish panel, NICE! that was always gonna be my plan if i stayed with a standard light setup
