    Electric NB

Mods feel free to delete or move this thread. I hadn't seen this posted yet...

John Metric is a metallurgist and engineer with 20 years experience and president of the National Electric Drag Race Association (NEDRA). Adam Clark is a Houston-area entrepreneur in the sign industry and vice president of the Houston Electric Auto Association (HEAA). Together they teamed up to start Lonestar EV Racing to custom build and race EV(electric vehicle) drag cars and EV race cars.

They will debut their second creation at the Houston Mini Maker Faire to inform and excite people about the future of electric racing. Armed with a laptop, 800HP of Lithium batteries, and one over-the-top Miata, no gas-powered car stands a chance. Zero to 150MPH will come in a heart stopping 8 seconds. This car was built from scratch for one purpose: to be the fastest, street legal electric car in the world.

Why delete it? Pretty fascinating stuff. Electric provides some pretty impressive torque, just don't want to see a 9-second Prius.

I just meant if it had already been posted. And I agree with your Prius comment haha.

That thing is pretty awesome. An electric car that is actually kind of cool. Now for some videos of it in action....

That would be fun to drive. Hell of a sleeper too.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.
