93 ilde issue CEL on

I have a 93 1.6 with 129xxx miles and recently I got a check engine light on when i was on the freeway on the way home from school.No power until 3k rpm and the car would die on idle in the morning, If don't feather the gas until it fully warms up. I pulled up the codes and it was a bad AFM so I went to project G to replace it. Ran great and I believe it solved the issue until the next morning. Drove for 5 minutes and the same issue reoccured. Any ideas that might help resolve this? Thanks in advance!

Did you clear the codes? If so, did the CEL come back?

kind of sounds like an ISCV issue, but clear the codes and check for new ones
