    1. Ciotti will have to answer this one...
    2. 30 mph
    3. Only seen one, EVER - and it was working traffic while a tow truck was a extricating a 911 over the side. I run the road often.

The speed limit on "The Snake" is the same as on "The Dragon". About 1/1000th the LEO presence. There's now a photographer on the road, so you can get good pics of your car if you're into that.

94 1.8 had 70,000 miles on it and its replacing my 207,00 mile motor. I figured they are so close in years that it will be the easiest of swaps since I have no clue what I am doing. Really all I am doing now is stock piling parts in my storage building lol I have most everything I need. I added a few things like new exhaust and lightweight flywheel and stage 1 clutch to my list so my cost of parties exced the amount of money I have so I am buying one thing at a time.

I have the FM 1.6>1.8 swap kit sitting in my garage. We didn't use it on mine.

Ciotti - your videos keep me going in between... Leaving for Zdayz at Deals Gap tomorrow morning!

The host location (Highland Hills) filled up the same day we announced the 2013 date. The people and the place are great, but MiB might be outgrowing it as the "primary" site. We are looking at a couple venues outside of town, and the place receiving the most posive feedback is the Smoketree Lodge.

The Smoketree is just nine miles from Highland Hills, and has better amenities. This may be the future home of MiB, and could easily be made a hub for some of this year's activities. Google Map.

I've contacted the General Manager, and they have 20 rooms currently available for the MiB weekend. Several cars are already based there this year. Check out the website - Some of you may wish to cancel reservations elsewhere and move.

    WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND
    Studio $75.00
    Large Studio $80.00
    One Bedroom $95.00
    Two Bedroom $105.00

I am leaning towards attending this over MATG. I know there has been some interest from the RDU people.

Markus and Josh are finally trying to make MATG into something beside a place for the blue-hairs to get another hat pin. I wish them luck with that. We've always tried to make MiB something more for the performance minded, rather than the "convertible" minded.

My brother and I will probably be going. Today I'm doing all the stuff to motor that can be done while motor is out of the car. I still have a couple of more things that needs to be purchased . If all goes well the Miata should be ready to make the trip. I can't be a passenger on this trip because I'm to tall to ride in Miata damn passenger sides of these cars were made for midgets.

That's exactly what I did last year and it was the right choice, most of the main guys have been to Miatas at the Gap many times and they prefer MiB, no cops, tighter group, and a better variety of roads.

In case you guys need more convincing...
