3,000 rpm - starting to feel the power
Found her alas!!!
Hello! long story short, 2006 got me an NC but lost her thru tough times in 2009 while living in Vegas, moved to Northern Cali in 2011 and life got better. Putting things in perspective, bought a house last year and did a whole year of research and last night she glowed in the dark before my weary eyes. Left the owner hanging a bit then 2 hours later called him back to ask him HER hand for $1000 (excuses included top, seat cover, tires and paint). Today she gloriously occupy my man cave.
Please help me welcome my new found girl a 12 year old (1994) crystal white, "A" package (power steering, power mirror and Torsen LSD type 1) as confirmed by Mazda Customer Service. She is a rough diamond at the moment but has a clean title and no accident record per Autocheck. Since she needs a top and seat cover, I am contemplating on changing her interior into a 93 LE or 94 M . Any input guys? The latter I guess is easier to accomplish as the LE red interior is quite scarce unless I shell out a boat load of cash to Evo9. Of course if anyone knows a better way please chime in. Tnx in advance.

Welcome. Yeah, a tan interior will be easier to find and much less expensive. White/tan is one of my favorite color combos.

3,000 rpm - starting to feel the power
Nice deal! I'm partial to the 93LE interior, especially in a white car. I actually have the carpet in my NB. I'd say just keep your eyes peeled on the classifieds section. Or if you can find a tan carpet set cheap, you could dye it close to the 93LE red...
edit: Found someone selling the carpet on here! http://mazdaroadster.net/showthread....4-Parting-93LE

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and the lead. Yeah I think I'm almost convinced with the tan interior. The exterior paint will probably end up BRG at the end. Just waiting for my suspension parts and rims. I will focus on the suspension for now so I can enjoy her at least this year before I tear her down for a FI preparation.

Sure altho' not much at this point exact at her basic plain vanilla look. I have ordered a top, deuce hoop bar, rims + tires and coilovers for her so in the next few weeks we got some work cut out for us, me and my son that is.
How do I post or upload pics?

1,000 rpm - releasing the clutch
I've been working on both my car and my son's (both Miatas; his is a '97 Montego, mine is a '96 Chaste). We've already had a lot of fun working on them. We aren't sports freaks, and we don't hunt so mechanics is sort of our bond with these little cars. I'm sure they will be for you as well.
Congrats on getting a 'real' roadster! The later ones were better cars, without doubt, but the NA was (IMO) the best Miata.
