    NA Hazard/Headlight Retro Toggle Switches

I've really wanted to finish this project for a while now, and i'm finally getting it done.No pictures right now, the prototype parts are ugly as sin.

The switches will replace the factory buttons and be completely plug and play. There will be a modest core fee required, I'm going to need a stock hazard/headlight button assembly back from the buyer. I am keeping costs down by using the original connectors from the OE switch instead of having new ones made or asking the buyer to cut up their wiring harness.

They will be priced between $50-$100 shipped, plus core.

I'm hoping to get everyone a picture tonight of the prototype mounted in the tombstone.

This is the prototype part. The finished product will have perfect fit and finish, These first few I'm making now are totally hand made and they aren't perfect.

I have this on my car for since the first batch that dave-m did. I also did a DIY version that uses the oem hazard/pop up.

If people prefer the look of the stainless plate instead of a recessed switch, I can do that. That way would be far cheaper to manufacture than the bracket I've designed to recess the switches. I personally think the recessed switched look more OE than the stainless plate does.

Also, the switch guards are not included, they are just something that I have on my personal car.

I like the idea of a plate much more honestly. For my car, it would finish the look well. Would you consider making switch guards? Very interested in this product!

I will see if I can get the switch guards cheaper, since there is some interest in them. They are aircraft toggle guards, not just U-bolts from McMaster.

I like the look of the ones with the stainless plate, a black plate to match the console might look even better.

I actually did something similar, gutted the factory piece and put in two toggles. Turned out pretty good.
True, the plate does add, but it will only fit the 1.6 hvac nicely, it will not fit the contour of the 1.8 hvac, as I tired to do this already.
