Red. I say this half-hating red cars, including the fact that my own is red... but if so many people didn't think it was the "best" color, there wouldn't be so many red miatae. (That is the plural of miata, right?)
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

This conversation could go on forever. Red and Yellow always fade, and draw too much attention. Black looks great, for the first 30 minutes after being washed. White shows off the most curves, but has the same dirt problems.
Color is too subjective to have a "best".
On miatas, metallic colors are best, because clear coat holds up better than single stage, especially on the non-metallic body panels.
The insurance companies say red is the fastest right?
This thread confuses me...what's the question? What's the best color? What's the best show? What does the picture of the girl with the guns have to do with anything?
