Help with fuel wires in engine bay

    Hello,

Stupid me has unplugged almost everything under the hood. I have to figure out which wires go where and the only one I'm stuck on is the plugs by the fuel lines at the base of the passenger's side strut tower. One plug is different shaped than the other, no problem ;) but the problem is that I have two identical plugs that would fit the other one. They both have yellow/red and white/red wires. One plug has longer wires like they're meant to go deeper into the bay but why are they identical and where does each go?

Thanks for some help, I'll make sure I note things better upon disassembly next time

this concoction underneath where the charcoal canister used to be... by the passenger strut

has two different plugs, which i have three connectors (two identical and one odd)

it's obvious where the odd one goes - but the identical two are um... confusing and idk where the other one of the twin pair goes! haha.

i think that it's left over from when i removed the charcoal canister last year... can anyone with a stock evap system confirm the three plug locations? please and thanks.

Sorry man. I also think they're for the evap system. I don't have those parts installed anymore either.

Does this help at all? both those connectors are connected to the same bracket. Looks to me like it's part of the charcoal cannister or the EGR system?

a little... the plug that you can easily see (right next to the blue on the bar) is the odd one, which has yellow/black and white/red.

the one hidden by the wire loom just to the right of that is one of the twins that i have, with yellow/red and white/red - same wire colors and same plug shape...

    i have found this -

where the orange arrow on the left, immediately below the blue shows what could be a plug with yellow/red wire? so, the orange arrow pointing down is the pic you showed me, with the two plugs, and this could be the third plug up on top of the strut?

1 red/white and red/yellow connector goes here. This is the Purge CV Valve that is connected to the charcoal cannister and the front nipple on the intake manifold just aft of the TB.

    photo 2.1.jpg

In this picture, you'll see the 2 connectors that is just aft of where the charcoal cannister used to be. The red/white and blk/yellow connector is the one to the right closest to the strut tower, and just to the left and slightly back is the other red/white and red/yellow connector. Both connectors are for the EGR solenoid valves.

Here's a diagram of the vacuum hose routing that is on the hood for reference:

    Hope this helps.
