After my passenger side power mirror glass fell off a few months ago.. my driver side decided to fall off the car also. I couldn't find replacement glass, so I decided to plug the passenger hole with something other than tape, and switch to a manual driver side mirror.

New Engine

Picked up a engine from a local member.

Then spent hours upon hours (days on days yo) researching all of the bogussvo threads on MT..

A few weeks later, I told the GF that I needed to order a "few" parts the get the new engine up and running.


OEM gasket/rebuild kit.

V valve seals

New WP with all new hardware

All new engine hardware

Head and main ARP's

Anyways, Then it all went down hill from here.

So after weeks of research.. I was literally driving home for the weekend to order...when...







Pulled out. I actually broke a slap hammer with my Russian brute strength..



Pulled up


New hood, headlight assembly and bumper.


So funds are low again.. motor build is on hold.

At first I was going full ham with a tube front, however under closer inspection I found that none of the main chassis is bent or damaged. I will be able to drill out 53-100 and spot a new one back on.



53-100 is ordered from mazdaspeed development.

Got a deal on some AWR 88's a few months ago

They feel about as hard as they look (not my photo).

The entire car now rattles like bum change..

ArtWorks/Dewa A/C panel,

Knowing that this is a super rare piece, I pulled it from the trash of a local parts dealer. It was really banged up when I got it, but I managed to get it back to workable quality.

So now that I am pretty much caught up.. Car is on the road, however the bumper and hood are pretty much ghetto rigged on. Nothing fits well on the pulled and bent up tie support.. which I still DO NOT have my hands on :vash:. Once that goes in I should be able to get the bumper and hood to fit correctly. Then all I need is a diver side fender and some "paint".

Also, grabbed a set of hood hinges (mine were bent) and a new main fan from local parts guy today.
