Don't even talk to me about looking good. Your car makes my car look like a green turd.

    Thanks regardless.

    Hey... I'm not dead.

    Surprisingly.

Sorry about the major lack of content. I've been really busy with a few things. Including a new job, friends, girlfriend, photography(trying to learn film) and I started building another car.

It's a 1997 Civic hatch. It has a pretty sweet rod knock, but it's been fixed... with a new engine

We purchased a B16b from HMO online. (shouts out yo)

I got to helped out with a local car show. Lots of cool stuff showed up.

And I also got the chnave to take some photos of a local drift series called Lone Star Drift

    A few Miatas showed up.

As a few of you know, I went a while without a job and it majorly halted my progression on my build. (as you can see by my lack of updates) It took me a while but I was able to find myself a job and get my life back in order. This meant I finally had enough free money to start buying car parts. I was initially going to start throwing money at the Civic I posted above, but after figuring out what my friends and I wanted from the car I decided to not put money into a car I might not drive ever.

With the want to start dumping money into a car I decided to focus my wallet at my first love, my Miata.

I first decided to focus on a few maintenance items I needed, which happened to include my radiator.

I opted to go with a higher quality Koyo radiator versus an OE- style option.

The install had to be one of the easiest things I've done to my car.

I think I finished everything up in just over an hour.

The quality of this product is insane. Top notch all around.

I then decided to upgrade my springs front and rear.

I went with Swift brand springs.

I have 6" 8k 65mm id springs in the front

And the rear I opriginally put my 400lb/in springs that I had in the front, along with a set of helpers.

But the rear ended up being wayyyyyy too stiff and I put in an order for 7" 6k Swifts for the rear.

After a few days they came in the mail and I threw the springs on the rear.

I'll make a long story short. These springs completely changed my car. It rides loads better, steering razor sharp, corners flatter, and my car handling characteristics now inspire confidence on the same levels of come controlled substances.

I'll be stopping by Gas Head Motorworks to get an alignment and have a few other things dialed in.

Updates with cool parts should be coming soon. My birthday is the 28th of next month and I'm hoping for some new wheels.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. I've been focusing a lot of my time on trying to improve my photography skills, so it's always good to hear that at least somebody digs my photos.

I was hoping you'd approve, garrett. All the guys over at Honda-Tech thought I was an idiot for not getting a B18C or a K-series. They just don't understand.

I really appreciate that. It means a lot coming from such a skilled photographer and cool roadster owner as yourself.

You should post more videos on YouTube.

Wow, nice revival of your *build thread*

Glad you spent some time finding yourself, your photography is really evolving nicely, and that civic looks dope as fuck with that B16 in there (Hearkens to the old simple jdm tuning days)

Also super stoked you manned up and got stiffer swift sprangsssss and nice extended top hats...
I'll pick up that pair of helper springs from you if you dont want em anymore
