I know one couple hit a boar, another guy hit a bear, one person went down the hill, and another lost his bumper in a ditch. Those are just the ones I know of.

While it does seem that there were more accidents than I can ever remember, a LOT of them are avoidable by being more careful. Of course, hitting animals (which isn't *THAT* common) will just happen. I've been going down there 1-3 times a year since 2005, and haven't suffered a scratch--as have thousands who drive that road and the roads around it every day.
