Why has my post count jumped 200 posts?

Not an issue, but I'm 99% sure it was at 300 & something yesterday.

No, but really, some of the forum areas don't count towards your post count. This may have been modified.

I changed some of the settings in the background that probably effected the (Supporting Members). I go back and check it. Some sections count for posts some don't. (members lounge) is one that does not. But (Roadster Underground) section does, however it's only viewable by those members. Some other areas for mod, admin work as well. I will try to go back one step and see which option needs to get changed.

As we sometimes adjust forums, consolidating one into another for instance, the combined forum's settings may allow posts to contribute to one's post count whereas they didn't before. When that happens, users could see a sudden jump in their count.

Similarly, if we purged a bunch of ancient and irrelevant threads, users could see a sudden drop in their post count which is why we generally don't do that.

200 post count I don't see as a panic situation no matter how you look at it.. seems like a christmas bonus instead to those who got it.. haha

I think only having 25 posts will unlock most sections and privliages on the forum.
