    steering problem.

I wasn't sure which section to post this in, so I figured suspension would be the best.

I have been having a issue with the steering wheel shaking while driving over 45mph. The tires are balanced within a .5oz and I just replaced the tie rods and my alignment specs are within .2* across. I recently changed the tie rod ends and I thought that would've fixed my problem, but it did not.

I am now down to the wheel hub/bearing or the ball joints and I cannot for the life of me figure out which one it would be.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

    Thankyou.

edit: The weird thing about it is that it is sometimes intermittant.

Miatas can usually feel an unbalanced tire under 1/4 ounce. It sucks telling tire techs this and going back multiple times, but that's sometimes what it takes.

A Hunter RoadForce balancer usually helps. There's a couple places in my city that have one.

I will rotate tires tommorow and see if that helps. If it doesn't what should I be looking for?

Worn steering column bushings? That would be my first guess.

When the car is on jack stands, grab the tire and try to wiggle it up and down and side to side. If there is any play at all investigate the ball joints and bearings.
