I was at 164, up to around 169, but I believe it is muscle gain. I have been doing a lot more body weight exercise. I am going to keep adding strength and keep at 165. I updated my social media image last week with a current photo and a lot of people who haven't seen me in a while couldn't believe it. Feels goods all around.

Congrats kungFu! Gotta keep up on the weights. I am more endurance based but when having a lazy day, it's a bad habit to break.

At my heaviest, I was at 216. Now I'm back at 205 over the span of 4 months. So I'm back on the horse working to go back to 175. I played soccer for the first time in over a year and forgot how great it was. Gives me motivation to lose weight so I can be more conditioned and play better

I'm at my lightest weight ever. I'm 6'2" and 158lbs. I started running and lost 6-7 lbs. I need to start lifting weights and gain muscle.

Keep it up man, I was at 218 lbs and now at 165 lbs (5'5"-btw). I was in the same exact boat. I used to BMX all the time but lost interest when buddies moved or wrecked the bodies to much. A few months ago I started riding again.. still a bit rusty but getting back into it and I enjoy it again! ^_^

Don't give up the fight! I still have not eaten ANY fast food or went through any drive through. Exception of Starbucks... No breading and portion control.

    fyi: I ride a 2011 Mirraco Mainline.

That's been my problem. I have played sports since I was 4 and stopped playing at 18. I'm now 21 and haven't really done anything physical since. Running has been nice but I haven't gone in a little while. Will be going again tomorrow. I worked my way up to 2.5 miles, but I am wondering how much of that I lost by not running for a few weeks! Time to start eating right and exercising, then weight lifting!

I started a few months ago at 227 lbs. I am now anywhere between 190 and 195 depending on time of day I weigh myself. I have gone from a 36 inch waist to a 34 now. I want to get down to a 32 we shall see how it works out for me. For the most part I stopped drinking 10 drpepper cans a day and only drink water now

I've cut back on soda a lot. I've been drinking water, eating fish or grilled chicken w/ brown rice and a fruit or vegetable 5 nights a week. My lungs are super weak from some surgeries a while back, so I can't do much cardio. I've been doing squats and pullups. The difference after just a few months makes it all worth it. It's fascinating how fast our bodies can change in a positive way if you put effort into it.

An easy way I use to motivate myself to be active is to get friends together and play sports. I've been playing basketball. I'm 6'1" and I am super close to dunking on a full height goal. I can't shoot a basketball to save my life but I've got enough hops to make a good defender.

I've lost 15 pounds so far, using a few different methods. I use an app called MyFitnessPal on my android phone. It budgets out how many calories you should have in total for the day, and you input food and it will track your caloric intake for you. I find a lot of the reason why I'm losing weight isn't the increased exercise, but watching how much / what I eat. I previously was eating around 2600 calories a day, and even with exercise, still gaining weight. Diet is huge.

Another tip is when you're hungry, have fruit at your house. Instead of snacking on potato chips or something like that, I eat strawberries or bananas. A lot healthier, and less calories too.

Cardio helps a lot, I have a few friends I can call on to go running with. Other people can be a source of motivation and help get your lazy ass out of the computer chair.

Oh, and watch the calories from what you drink. I used to have a sweetened coffee, soda, and a beer or two every day. That'd easily add up to 500-700 calories just like that. I switched to unsweetened coffee (I need my caffeine) and water. Beer is only like once or twice a week, when I have the caloric allowance for it.

6 ft BMI of 20, just like adding stickers for hp, every point lost in BMI equals +1 hp!
