I scored 171 cars today. My beloved comic shop is closing and I cleared out about 1/4 of their stock. Pix coming.

I tend to only get cars I really like and as such, haven't found many that I've liked in a while, but today I found a e36 M3 and a Porsche 934 RSR Turbo.
Hope I can find one of those Datsun wagons now.

    This should be interesting...
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

They estimated they had 500 of each car (007 DB5, Homer, and Vader) and each car sold out in under two minutes, the Vader in about 30 seconds, seriously. It was one car per order, even with one-click checkout it was sold out by the time I finished my transaction.

I found The Homer yesterday…finally, after like a year of keeping an eye out for them…and then I found three more.

I took a drive down to my second closest Walmart over lunch and discovered the new A/B/C case tri-bin had just been put out (I say that because there were Chicane, Jeep, and Rocketfire THs). I found out from a friend that I was beat to it by minutes and the single Toyota AE86 Corolla $uper was pulled from it. That guy also took two of the Copo Camaros and a TH Rocketfire but left everything else. Great for me, I was able to get a bunch of what I wanted (JDM cars and Pedal Drivers). I left a lot behind because a good friend had already grabbed me the new C case cars from his store in case my stores didn't get any. I was a little down that I didn't score the Super Corolla but turns out that luck was still on my side, hanging on the pegs above the bin was a Super Summit Chevelle (our stores got a bunch of G cases last weekend).

They also had the Holiday Cars so I was able to finally snag a set:

People are finding the Volkswagen Golf with PR5 wheels, but none of those here. I did however find some odd looking '53 Chevys:

Got the Civics here before Black Friday, they are all gone now after the crazy shoppers took over the stores.

Did you find any that are on the Chevy card like those?

Finally saw my local Walmart getting restocked as I was walking through the store today. Porsche RSRs, Meyers Manx, GReddy 350Z's and old junk. I didn't even bother to look through it since another collector was there. Still haven't seen XMAS cars either.

Stopped into WM last night, found a fresh dump bin with '15 C case stuff.

Plan to go back and get a few more from this batch.

After being recently re-addicted to collecting Hot Wheels I learned they can be easily customized.

Well I had the blue "24/7" casting with the Hot Wheels logos all over it. I wasn't too thrilled about the logos, white wheel or the overly done front splitter and white interior. A couple of drilled rivets later, wheel swap from a sacrificed hot wheels model, some paint and a hobby knife here is the result.
