    Roadster Showoff 2014 / Project-G Annual Meet

    First Project-G Roadster Showoff!!!

    What is The Roadster Showoff?
The Roadster Showoff is the official car show of the Project-G Annual Meet.
This will be the best of the best parking at the event. This will ensure the highest possibility for exposure to all the press, attendees, etc.

I would love to enter, but my car isn't show quality. Can I still participate?
Since Project-G is a company within the community, we know how special EACH build is. We know all cars have their own personality and every owner takes pride in their build. We want everyone who would like to enter the Roadster Showoff to enter without feeling they don't belong. NOT ALL THE WINNERS WILL HAVE THE CLEANEST OR MOST EXPENSIVE BUILDS. Of course they have their place in the show, but we also want to include awards for all levels. After attending a car show, how many times have we all heard, "the best cars were in the parking lot." Everyone appreciates different details. You may have done something that really stands out, even though it's not on a "show car". We want to see these things.

    Who should enter?
    EVERYONE!
We are hoping anyone who takes pride in their car will enter. From Bone Stock, Super Modified, Full Show, Full Race, Track, Street, Slammed, Forced Induction, All Motor, Work In Progress, and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. They all have a place in the Roadster Showoff.

    What classes will be judged?
Depending on the number of entries, the list will grow.
Of course there will be the standard classes such as Street, Track, Best of Show, etc. However, as we get more entries, more and more classes/awards will be added.
Let's face it, if we have 10 cars, we can't have Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Interior, and 7 more awards. If we have 50, sure we can. We are aiming for more creative classes, but we won't be announcing them til the awards. Just a hint, EVERYONE has a chance to take home an award.

Why do I need to pre-register?
Since this is the first time we are doing this, we are not sure what kind of interest to expect. As people start to register, we will be able to assess the number of entries and how many different awards we can present. We are working on what we hope to be some unique awards. No promises as of yet, since we are not sure if they can be fabricated as we want them, but hopefully they will.
Just so you know, we are shooting for awards that you guys would really want to win. All of us here REALLY want one already.

What do I get for pre-registering?
Each registered entry will receive reserved, prime parking in our show section (To be determined by response)
Entry to the event before the gates open (To allow time to park, setup, clean vehicle, etc.)
A chance at winning some awards not available anywhere else
1 Meal Ticket for food at the event
1 Entry in the paid raffle

Can I just wait and register the day of the event?
We are not sure what type of response we are going to get. If there is room, that should not be a problem. The choice spots will be given in to the early registrants, fair is fair. If it is sold out, then obviously not. If everyone waits until the day of the event, there will not be as many awards as there could have been.

    Ok, I'm in! What's involved?
Entry will be $20 per vehicle. This will go toward the award fabrication of our awards.
Keep in mind we do have limited space to do this, so there is a possibility it will sell out.
Make sure to register early to reserve your spot.

    Registration will be here:
    www.projectgla.com/roadstershowoff
(This will go live this weekend, but for now is not active.)

Again, if you have the intention to register, the earlier the better. This will help us to create more categories for awards.
