Be careful switching websites while typing a post. Also, what is "Auto-Saved"?

I was typing a long post and needed to switch to a different tab to Google something. When I came back a few seconds later, all my text was gone as was the reply box.

I noticed this little pop up that says "Auto-Saved" but don't know what it's about. I mean, obviously I know what saving means but why is it auto saving my text and how do I use it?

Oh, cool. I just learned something. I knew about autosave, but hadn't really used it.

    Try this:

Type some text and wait for the "autosave". (I've got it set to 2 minutes so it won't bother us as often)
After that, reload the page. Your text will be gone, but there should be a "restore autosave" button in the bottom left corner of the editor pane.
Click that button and your text will be restored.
