Amelia Island noob.

Amelia Island is in the NE corner of Florida and I can see St.Marys GA across the InterCoastal from my house which Sarah would say makes me an expert in foreign relations.

There are only a few Miatas on the island and they are vastly outnumbered by various latest model Porsches and other such status symbols.

There is also a complete absence of the famous "twisties" that Miata owners often talk about and one has to suffer the ignominy of being tailgated by various nonagenarian blue haired women driving various AMG Black Series, I kid you not.

Anyway ... good to be here and did I tell you that I'm looking to find a HARDTOP for my '97 M?

I had originally sold this on eBay last week but the guy that used the buy-it-now was some 18 y/o kid that emailed AFTER buying that he promises to pay $200 per week until paid off if I would just please hold it for him. WTF??? Anyhow, I told him that was not part of the auction terms and he will get an unpaid item strike from eBay now.

So it is still available, if you want to save me the hassle of going to eBay or Craigslist its yours for $900 cash, picked up in Plant City, FL (that's near Tampa)
