    Newbie from SoCal

Hey everybody, my name is Steven. I've always been into the car scene, but had never actually owned a car. I've always had my '07 Toyota Tacoma and '05 Triumph Thruxton, but it was about time for a car. Was looking into Miatas for quite some time and finally purchased one a few weeks ago from a coworker. It's a '97 Chaste White NA8 Miata and I love it! When I bought it from my coworker, it already had the following:

    • Koni Yellow Shocks
    • Jackson Racing Header
    • Racing Beat Intake
    • Panasport Racing Wheels
    • Cusco Lower Arm Brace
    • Momo 280 mm Steering Wheel

Since owning the car, I've installed a front lip, side skirts, rear lip, Tougerun spoiler that I colormatched myself, Garage Star license plate relocation, ARC teardrop shift knob, and ARC oil cap. Here's the most current picture of it leaving from the Project-G 2nd Anniversary Meet.

    My other rides!

Future plans for the Miata at the moment are to get coilovers, swap out the style bar for a roll bar (unsure of which one; open to suggestions), and get a Project-G G-String bikini top. Very excited to finally get into the car scene, especially into Miatas and I'm looking forward to being on here!

Welcome, I like your toys specially the bike. Your truck is perfect to haul your bike on trackdays. You are definitely going to enjoy the car scene, I myself just got into bikes and I'm loving it. All you need is a roll bar to hit the tracks. BTW, don't sell the Panasport, those wheels are one of the best looking rollers for the early miatas. Anyways, take it easy.

Steven, welcome to our site!!! I like your style! Each one of your vehicles has it's own unique look/mods. Love the Triumph, great looking Toytota (baja fun), and an all white Miata!!!! Very cool indeed!

    -Cheers,

Thanks! What kind of bike do you have? As for the Panasports, I may end up keeping them as a track set, but we'll see, haha.

    Hi, and welcome!

Do you have build threads for the bike and truck on some other forums?

Thanks! Here's the build thread for my truck on Tacoma World: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd...ger-build.html

Unfortunately, I don't have a build thread for my Thruxton, but the guys over at Bonnefication did a little feature on me and my bike: http://www.bonnefication.com/thruxsteven/

Steven, looking at what you've done with you other rides, I am looking forward to see what you are going to do with your Miata!!!

You must have left the Project-G meet with a ton of motivation. Let us know if you have any questions, as we have some of the best Miata minds from around the world as members of this site.

Thanks again Jim! I will be on here A LOT. Definitely got a lot of ideas from the meet and still unsure of what route I really want to go with my Miata, but it's only a matter of time. I can tell you that I can already see my wallet starting to thin.

In other news, I responded to Martin's posts above with some links and it said I had to wait for a moderator approval, but I don't see it...?

Odd - it showed as a spam post. Should be all fixed up now.
