    ^not my car
Was just Google searching some wheel pics and this came up... it's MY car!

(or was... about 5-6 years ago)

A sub-24 pound wheel & tire package that still has 195mm of tread is a good thing on a lightweight Miata. I'm presently at another 25-pound wheel & tire package... but I did it with 10.8 pound hollowspokes and 14 pound 175/70 all-season tires. Just as light, but severely lacking in grip, feel and steering response! (but, amazingly "not bad" for street use once you get used to it)

Good eye. Yes they are Rivals. I just need to get my engine back together so I can try them out.

They have one of the most distinctive tread patterns I've seen, and trust me you'll love them

Cool, good current info. I would do the 175's, but I just hate that theres not many sticky small tires. I just obtained some used hollows. 10.6lbs. And was planning a 22-24lbs combo. The other day I did the spares for a few miles and they did amazing on broken cement, was this your experience as well?

Here's an interesting test. It was done on a 502 powered 70 Chevelle that tipped the scales at near 4000#. The results are interesting.

Pretty much agrees with the Grassroots Motorsports article.
