In the Norfolk area, seeing how this is the new CR.net I figured I would stop in to say hai.

just signed up. sup OCD, sup?
I doubt this thread will see more traffic than CR, but at least this site isn't blocked from my work. I hate having to use Tor in order to see a car forum.
Plus it seems like this site will surpass what CR was.

So what's everybody doing this weekend? I'm going to see Christopher Titus at the Funny Bone Saturday night with a buddy from Richmond. And at some point have to figure out why the A/C compressor belt on my NB is squealing like a pig on most mornings when I start my car. That shit is ANNOYING.

ill probably be working all weekend. you probably wanna just replace that belt though. even after you tighten it, itll end up slipping again.
I'll try tightening it first. It's a brand new belt, just got put on three weeks ago. But if its starts squealing again I will certainly replace it. It's got to piss my next door neighbor off who works nights and is asleep when I leave for work. His bedroom window is about five feet away from where I park my car

I think are spread out over too many sites. This new forum looks good but we have FB, had CR(didn't know it died), there is the grip forum, the autocross forum, VaDriven(have logged on their in months), the old standard miata.net, and i'm sure a couple more that aren't coming to mind right now. I guess I'm just a fair weather car guy anyway the Miata hasn't been out of the garage in weeks, I haven't even been checking the forums very often. Come on spring.
Hey Johnny! I agree, there are a lot of places for us locals to go on the internet. I've been hanging out here and haven't been back to m.net or clubroadster since. I don't get muhc forum time anymore either but it's nice to fill a void when you're bored or have a question or something cool to share!
I won't have much time for forums coming up here soon.. looks like I will be the new VP of Membership with TSCC (I'm running un-opposed.. lol) so between that and Grip stuff.. I am pretty darn busy!

Yeah will have to say I use the FB group more, but it's nice to have a forum to call home. I like the way this is run as opposed to big corporate, at least the owners give a damn about this site.
As for time...I have it, just don't post much.
oh, we need a cruise soon...

Tidewater/RDU gangbang this summer?
That would make for an interesting meet.
Should meat-up for a VIR track day.
