    revlimiter Badges

    revlimiter Badges

    • Works with most cars. Some models will need holes filled left over from OEM badges.
    • Composed of vinyl and solar-cell quality polyurethane epoxy.
    • Badges are chromed diecast metal. No cheap plastic here.
    • 3M 20 lb tape included with each badge.

Go to my store for price and ordering info! I've got a sort of sliding scale for pricing based on what package you order. Nose badges are starting at $39 + shipping each. Fender badges start at $29 + shipping each.

    Details:

Badges come in two sizes: 58mm (nose) and 50mm (fender).

The 58mm badge has a wide double bevel around the inner design. Both sizes are solid metal. They're a level above the OEM chrome plastic they'll likely replace.

The 50mm badge is very low profile by design to keep it close to the body. The 58mm sticks out a bit further.

Each badge has some light 3M adhesive on the back. I also ship a strip of insane 20 lb tape with each badge. You can almost pick up the whole car with the stuff! (But seriously, you need to be SURE of the location before you stick the crazy 20 lb tape on your car.)

    Installed Photos:

The 58mm nose badge is perfect for the NA Miata. Not huge and overpowering like badges on modern cars.

NB2 cars will have to have the holes filled from the large emblem before mounting one of these 58mm badges.

The 50mm badge is perfect for a hardtop...

    ... or a fender.

The 50mm badge is also perfect for the NB trunk lid. No hole filling required.

    Standard colors:

Left to right: white, black, chrome foil, metallic silver, gold foil, yellow, metallic gold, 93LE red, bright red, pink, orange, BRG, Mazda blue, dark blue.

The badges are made from cut vinyl. The above colors are always in stock. Any design can be made using any of these colors for a small additional fee.

If you want to order a badge in a very specific color (smokey red or Laguna Seca blue for example) you have to realize that it might not be possible. I'm limited to what colors of vinyl exist. I can't just print out an exact shade for you. Also, there would be a vinyl roll fee (around $30) for colors not shown above.

    FAQ

Q: Can I have matching center cap inserts made?!?!
A: Yes! Due to the different sizes that center caps come in, each order would be custom (read: not cheap). I'll have a page of details coming in the near future. For right now, I'm trying to keep up with badge orders. Feel free to order some center caps via the order form. I'll request measurements in mm to 2 decimal places. You also must actually have center caps on hand. I cannot make the plastic thing (the actual center cap) that fits your wheel.

Q: Can I order a matching horn button from you?!??

A: Not yet. I don't have a good source for blank horn buttons. If you have a blank horn button in your posession and the button itself is perfectly flat, then yes. I could make you a domed insert for it.

Q: I'd really like a rectangular badge. Make it happen.

A: Sure! The mold fee for each new shape is around $1200. If you really want a shape or size not shown above, just let me know. It takes about 3 months for tooling and production in addition to the mold fee.

Q: Can I order one of the special keychain designs (a tach, rainbow kitty, etc)?
A: No. Those use printed vinyl and don't live well out in the elements. All badge designs are pure cut vinyl. That means more intricate designs like the Eunos keychain aren't possible. Sorry.

Very nice, I'm going to measure my SE badge that's falling off, maybe that'll cover the spot when she's gone.

Please let me know. I'm almost certain the 58mm would cover it. The 50 might be a bit short. But it might cover any holes left behind anyway.

Q: Do you have a package deal for badges with matching keychain?
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

I just placed my order. Hope to hear from you soon! Gonna get some Elanore goodness. I almost went NOS, but I think it might be too much white.
