Jordan Mo's NB Miata Budget Build

I recently purchased a 1999 NB Mazda Miata. The original color is Classic Red, but I believe one of the previous owners had it repainted to Velocity Red (A color that came form the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed or 2006 Limited Edition) since there's pearl in the paint.

I currently own an 2001 Lexus IS300 as my "Garage Queen", so the Miata is my daily driver.

This will be a budget build since it's my daily driver, so I'm being a cheap ass on everything.

Restored my headlights today! They were pretty oxidized when I bought the car.

A somewhat rare & discontinued 330mm Vertex Steering Wheel. I'll be sharing this with my IS300.

The smallest updates...

I couldn't stand the stock dome bulb in the interior of the Miata, I can't see sh*t.
Upgraded to these AutoFlavor LED panels, way better than before. This is with the diffuser lens attached, without it, it's even brighter.

Did a cruise up Angeles Crest this past weekend with my friends.
My car is the one that's being covered by everybody standing there, while I'm seated on the chair. HAHA

The other red NB is a friend of mine also.

The car feels a little laggy every time I start the ignition, I thought maybe I needed new spark plugs.
So I copped some NGK Spark Plugs & NGK Blue Spark Plug Wires. Installed them today with my buddy.

Haha yeah. Vincent Shumai is a really close friend of mine.
He sold his NB a while back and I was there to witness his build when he had it, which is actually one of the reasons why I was inspired to buy an NB eventually for myself.

I always loved his NB, minus the red rear view mirrors but I knew the reasoning behind him doing it so I can respect it. I remember seeing him the one video for Autolife TV.

I'm currently working on a projector retrofit for my headlights.
I ended up buying another pair of headlights since the condition of my current pair isn't that ideal.

I bought a pair of NB1 headlights from Japan, later after opening up I realized that the JDM headlights actually have a separate socket opening for the city light, which the USDM ones do not have.


Painted my projector shield red to create a demon eyes look while I was waiting to paint my housings.
