This 1993 Mazda Miata Limited Edition has just 34k miles and was sold new in Ohio were it remained until the seller’s acquisition from a May 2017 BaT auction. The car is one of 1500 produced that year and power comes from 1.6L DOHC inline-four paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox sending power to a limited slip differential. All LE’s were finished in Brilliant Black over a red leather interior and modifications to this example include a set of OEM mudflaps, a Racing Beat intake and Jackson Racing header, a Brospeed muffler, and more as detailed below. Work conducted under previous ownership in 2017 included changing the timing belt, assorted fluids, and installing a new radiator. This Miata is now being offered with some spare parts, records back to 2012, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

Limited Edition Miata’s were fitted with a front air dam, a rear lower skirt, a decklid spoiler, and 14″ BBS wheels. VIN stickers are shown in gallery photos, and exterior modifications include a NACA-style driver-side headlight door, OEM mudflaps front and rear, and a Mazda Eunos rear badge

The original black soft top is reportedly in good shape and the plastic rear window shows some waving according to the seller. A red boot and tonneau cover are pictured in the gallery and will be included in the sale.

Inside, the LE-specific red leather interior features aluminum trim on the speaker kick-panels, tweeters, and door sills. OEM red floor mats with Miata scripts are included, along with the Coco Mats pictured above. Interior modifications include a red leather e-brake boot, red leather seat belt covers, a lighted rearview mirror with map lights, a center console armrest pad, and a trunk protector. The odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 1500 of which have been added by the seller in the past year.

The speaker kick panels were designed with a retro-look and house speakers for the Sensory Sound System that was standard on the LE. Radio features included a Pioneer cassette/CD combination, sound equalization, and seatback-mounted bass transducers.

The 1.6L DOHC inline-four is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and is modified with a Racing Beat intake, K&N filter, Jackson Racing header, Brospeed exhaust, and a DDM Works cruise control relocation bracket. A service conducted in April 2017 under previous ownership included replacing the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, spark plugs, coolant hoses, radiator, crankshaft seal, camshaft seals, and CAS seal. The clutch and brake fluids were reportedly flushed during the same service.

All Miata LEs came fitted with Bilstein shocks, slightly stiffer springs, a limited-slip differential, power steering, and ABS. A few photos of the underbody are viewable in the gallery.
