    Hardtop Solo R&R with Brackets

I have a pulley system in the garage so I can R&R my top solo. It stays up and out of the way, it cannot get damaged and it's not eating up any floor space...I don't have any floor space to waste.

I went with brackets and security screws so it's not a matter of popping on the OEM clamps and being done with it...it does require a few minutes to get everything lined up and snugged down. I found a ratcheting tie-down strap quite helpful. It runs from one door latch across the top, just above the rear window and then to the opposite door latch. This allows me to pull the top down tight and also push it forward so the FBolts are snug and the windshield brackets and side brackets can all be snugged down tight, and it can all be done solo.
