    Laguna Blue 1994 S-Special NA8C

I would like to show some progress of my Laguna Blue 1994 Eunos Roadster S-Special.

Everything started 2008 with the purchase of my ´99 NB. I drove it until 2012.

However I had the desire to own an NA one day. I also have a soft spot for Japan. Since my visit in 2012 it was stronger than ever.

In 2017 I should be ready to implement the plan. After searching and several visits but no suitable roadster I thought, why not a real Eunos.
Like every evening I searched the net for suitable cars. In April 2017 I found an S-Special Eunos in the UK. The car had 110.000 km back then.
The car was imported back in 2003 to the UK with 66.000 km. It had a Laguna blue hardtop, yellow fog lights and fully S-Special options.
Unfortunately the hardtop, fogs and the silver headunit from the Mazda sensory sound system were uninstalled by UK owners. Nice to have: the MOT reports since 2003, some maintenance papers and the sales ad.
Wrote a message to the seller to find out if he was willing to sell to a German guy.
After several mails and phone calls I could manage to get insurance and bring it to Germany so the journey began.
I was aware of the risk of possibly returning without a car.
We flew to London and went by train for another 3 hours. After a test drive with the seller I bought the car and drove back to Dover. After the night there we took the ferry to Dunkirchen and drove home another 700 km.

At home I took care of the approval for legal road driving the car and there was a lot of maintenance work like new tie rod ends, adjust the suspension, changed timing belt, spark plugs, water pump, valve cover gasket, engine oil, differential oil, transmission oil, brake fluid…
Uninstalled the unattractive front aluminium grille, LED lights and the Raybrigs which are not road legal here.
A year before I bought new 14” ET28 RPF1 which were installed with Nankang semi slicks.

After I got German TÜV for the car I drove it with a big smile.
Unfortunately I had some problems with the semis (unfortunately no Direzzas here) so I got other tires.

In the following time a few parts found their way to the car. From my old NB I had the Tuckin99 license plate stay which was powdercoated. I have to repaint some other parts like the front bumper (holes), mirrors and rear cover in the future.

Got an Eunos blank key as a second key and Kenauto door bushings.

In July 17 there was the first roadster tour.

In August 17 there was the big TiDM meeting in Germany…much rain.

After the TiDM I drove to the Miatas at Sevenum Meeting in the Netherlands.

Later on I bought new top seals, rear light seals and trunk seal.

To protect the car in the garage I bought a nice indoor cover.

Meanwhile I got equipment like Zoom blue wide mirrors, which has to be installed later.
