I love looking at these German engineered marvels from afar.

I am so glad I am over my superior engineered German car phase.
Every time something like this would happen to one of my Audi's I would work through the problem, solve it, and feel satisfied that the car was fully sorted. But noooo, the Audi Gods were busy planning the next problem in a short order to keep me challenged. This cycle repeated over and over. Each time I thought this was the last big hurdle.
I finally realized that these continuous problems were OK for a hobby car but not acceptable for a daily driver.
Selling my Audi daily drivers was the best automotive decision I ever made.

When I retire I may get another when I would have more time to deal with the problems, then again maybe not!
