Body Shop Hayashi is more of a custom design shop than a tuner per say, Jack Hayashi the owner, designs a lot of concept cars and has entered them at the annual Tokyo Auto Salon. He has won a few awards for he designs as well.

His first Miata related design was the "Hayashi Roadster", a sleek black Roadster that had a unique style of its own. You can see it in Vol# 1 "One and Only Eunos Roadster (1993) page# 25, and the more updated version from SCC Magazine (1997) sep, page#46 Ill try to scan those later this week for you guys.

Hayashi designed the first functional flush mount headlights for the Miata (in Japan) which he sold exclusively through KG-Works back in the late 1990's. Every once in a blue moon you will see a set pop up for sale on the Japanese auctions. He also designed and produced the rear retro themed tail lights which he later sold through KG-Works and more recently Barchetta Roadster's Club.
